Description

4 High Street in Lochmaben is an earlier 19th century, two-storey corner house featuring a well-designed pilastered mid-19th century shop front on the main south elevation. The house door is located to the right, and there are three first-floor windows that have modern glazing, with margins that connect to an eaves band. The exterior is harl lined to resemble ashlar, with contrasting painted ashlar margins. The roof is in an L-plan shape, covered with graded slates and has gable-head stacks.
