Description
19 High Street in Lochmaben is a building from the mid 19th century, featuring two storeys and four bays. The entrance is located in the second bay and is topped by a tall fanlight. In the third bay, there is a shop window, while the right bay contains two doorways, which may have originally served as a wide pend. The exterior is finished in painted coursed rubble with ashlar margins and projecting cills. The sash windows on the first floor have a 12-pane glazing pattern. The building has skews and end stacks, one of which is shared with the Kings Arms, while the other stack has been removed. The roof is covered with slate.
