Description
18 Bank Street in Dumfries is a mid-19th century building. It features a narrow two-storey front with a single-storey bay on the left side that contains the entrance. The exterior is made of painted coursed rubble with contrasting ashlar margins. At the ground floor, there is a tripartite window with segmental-headed lights, and two single windows are located on the first floor. The entrance bay has a pilastered doorway, a window, and a stepped parapet. The windows are fitted with plate-glass sashes, and there are end stacks. The roof is a piended slate design.
