Description

The Coach and Horses Inn, located at 1 Bank Street in Dumfries, dates from the late 18th century. It is a two-storey building with three bays and features a chamfered corner at the southwest. The exterior is finished with painted render and has ashlar margins, while the gable facing Bank Street is harled. The central doorway has been enlarged and includes modern glazing. The roof has straight skews and a single end stack remains, topped with slate.
