14 West Terrace, High Street, South Queensferry

14 West Terrace in South Queensferry is a building from the later 18th century, featuring an older rear wing and some later alterations. It is two stories tall with an attic and has three bays. The front is finished in painted render, while the rear is made of painted rubble with smooth margins and a base course.

On the northern elevation, which is the principal facade, there is a central shop door flanked by large windows, with single windows above and a central dormer in the attic. The eastern elevation adjoins another building. The southern elevation includes a door with a forestair in a re-entrant angle, the rear wing, and irregular window placement on the eastern return, with a central door that is currently unused. The western elevation features a blind gable end and three windows on the rear wing.

The building has modern glazing and a slate roof with a straight skew. There is a coped stack at the western gablehead and a tall stone and brick coped stack in the center of the rear wing. The interior was not seen in 2000.
