1 East Terrace, South Queensferry

1 East Terrace in South Queensferry is an 18th-century building that features two storeys and an attic. The exterior is finished with painted bull-faced render and smooth painted renders.

On the north elevation, which is the principal front, there is a timber door located in the right bay. To the left at ground level, there is a single window, with another window directly above it on the first floor. The roof includes a canted dormer.

The east elevation is connected to an adjoining building, while the south elevation showcases a large dormer window with a flat roof. The west elevation also connects to another adjoining building.

The principal elevation has 12-pane sash and case windows, although the dormer features modern glazing. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring straight skews and skewputts. There is a rendered and corniced stack on the right gablehead and a rubble stack on the left gablehead.

The interior was not seen in 2000.
