Craig View, 5 Edinburgh Road, South Queensferry

Craig View is a 2-storey and attic, 3-bay dwelling house built in 1885. The exterior is rendered with painted margins, raised cills, and a base course.

The south elevation is symmetrical, featuring a central door with a fanlight and regular window arrangement, along with canted dormers in the outer bays. The west elevation is connected to an adjoining building. The north elevation displays exposed rubble with irregular fenestration and canted dormers in the outer bays. The east elevation also connects to an adjoining building.

The windows are 8-pane timber sash and case, although the dormers have modern glazing. The roof is slate, lacking skews, and there are rendered stacks at the gableheads. The interior was not seen in 2000.
