Rosebery Memorial Hall, 17 West Terrace, High Street, South Queensferry

Rosebery Memorial Hall, located at 17 West Terrace in South Queensferry, was designed by Sydney Mitchell and Wilson and is dated 1890 above the door, with a Serlian window dated 1893. The building is two stories high, featuring an ashlar ground floor and a harled first floor, with ashlar dressings.

The north elevation, which is the principal front, has a shaped gable and a tripartite arrangement at the ground floor, with a pedimented Serlian window above. There is a quadrant link to the Tolbooth on the right, a tripartite arrangement at the first floor, and a crowning balustrade. To the right, there is a moulded doorpiece with a pediment feature and a forestair with railing.

The east elevation is a blind wall, while the south elevation has adjoining buildings. The west elevation features a window leading into a small courtyard, which has a wall decorated with a modern mural.

The building has a variety of small pane and four-pane timber sash and case glazing. It has a rosemary tiled roof and a coped ashlar stack on the east side. The interior has been significantly altered.
