66 Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh

66 Dalkeith Road is a single storey and attic, three bay symmetrical classical house, dated 1837. It features a single storey wing adjoining to the south. The house is constructed of cream sandstone ashlar, with rubble on the sides and rear. It has a base course, a cornice, and a blocking course above the windows, along with overhanging eaves.

On the entrance elevation, there is a central doorway with a modern door and a plate glass fanlight above. A pediment breaks the eaves above the doorway, and there is a two-light box dormer above. The outer left and right bays have three-light canted windows. The windows are plate glass, two-pane timber sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended design, featuring tall coped wallhead stacks that are rendered to the south, along with moulded cans.

The interior was not seen in 1996. The property has low coursed and coped boundary walls along the street.
