Description

2 storey, 4 bay, symmetrical pair of classical houses. Polished cream sandtone ashlar; rubble to sides and rear. Base course; advanced cills; eaves course; cornice; blocking course raised above advanced central bays.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorways to central bays; panelled doors; plate glass fanlight to No 80, multi paned to No 78; single windows to 1st floor above. Single windows to both floors in bays to outer left and right.

4 pane, 12 pane and plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; rendered wallhead stack to S.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: low coursed boundary wall to street; replacement railings; stone piers with pyramidal cap between houses and to S.
