6, 7, 8, 8A Warrender Park Crescent, Edinburgh

This building, located at 6, 7, 8, and 8A Warrender Park Crescent in Edinburgh, dates from around 1880 and is a four-storey tenement with a basement, featuring seven bays as part of a terrace. The exterior is constructed of coursed lightly stugged grey ashlar with polished dressings. Notable architectural details include a base course, a string course at the third floor, and round-arched doorways framed by recessed polished granite columns. The doorways have panelled two-leaf doors and plate glass fanlights with chamfered reveals.

On the north entrance elevation, there are steps leading up to the doorways located in the second, fourth, and sixth bays. Above these doorways, there are single windows in the second and sixth bays, while the third-floor windows feature pedimented dormerheads. The first and fifth bays have full-height canted windows topped with pyramidal roofs. The third and seventh bays contain bipartite windows on each floor, with the third-floor windows also having pedimented dormerheads, inset paterae, and round-arched panels. The building has plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, a corniced wallhead stack, corniced mutual stacks, moulded octagonal cans, and gabletted skewputts. The interiors were not seen in 1991.

Additionally, there are cast-iron boundary railings along the street and steps.
