Description

46 Warrender Park Road is a four-storey, six-bay tenement building dating from around 1880, featuring Baronial architectural details and forming part of a terrace. The structure is constructed from squared and snecked sandstone, with polished ashlar dressings. It has a base course and a corbel table at the third floor that steps down to the second floor. The doorways are roll-moulded, with deep-set panelled doors and plate glass fanlights. The third-floor windows break the eaves and are topped with stone finialled pediments, while the reveals are chamfered, and the gables are crowstepped.

On the north entrance elevation, the doorway is offset to the left in the second bay, with single windows above. Another doorway is offset to the right in the third bay, with single windows above it as well. There is a tripartite window located between the second and third bays at ground level. A doorway is situated between the fifth and sixth bays. The first bay features full-height canted windows at the gablehead. The penultimate bay to the right is advanced and has a chamfered angle with a pyramidal roof topped by an iron finial. The sixth bay has bipartite windows under a crowstepped gable, while the fourth bay contains single windows. The building has plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, and rendered and coped mutual stacks with beak skewputts. A low saddleback wall borders the street.

The interiors were not seen in 1991.
