Description

Circa 1880. 4-storey, 6-bay tenement with Baronial details, forming part of terrace. Squared and snecked sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; corbel table at 3rd floor stepped down to 2nd floor; roll-moulded doorways; deep-set panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; 3rd floor windows breaking eaves in stone finialled pediments; chamfered reveals; crowstepped gables.

N ENTRANCE elevation: doorway offset to left in 2nd bay; single windows above. Doorway offset to right in 3rd bay; single windows above; tripartite window between 2nd and 3rd bays at ground. Doorway between 5th and 6th bays. Full-height canted windows to square at gablehead in 1st bay. Penultimate bay to right advanced with chamfered angle and pyramidal roof; iron finial. Bipartite windows crowstepped gabled in 6th bay. Single windows in 4th bay. Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, rendered and coped mutual stacks; beak skewputts.

Low saddleback wall to street.
