45-47 Warrender Park Road, Marchmont, Edinburgh

45-47 Warrender Park Road is a four-storey, four-bay tenement building dating from around 1882, featuring Baronial architectural details and forming part of a terrace. The structure is constructed of squared and snecked pink sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. It has a base course, string courses above the ground and first floors, and a cornice at the second floor. The doorways are roll-moulded, with deep-set panelled doors and chamfered reveals.

On the entrance elevation, the doorways are offset to the left and right in the third bay, with bipartite windows above and a single window featuring a semi-circular pediment at the third floor. The outer bay to the right is advanced with a chamfered window angle and is linked to the neighbouring tenement on the outer right by a continuous string course. The roof is pyramidal with an iron finial. There is a full-height canted window in the second bay, which is corbelled to a square at the crow-stepped gablehead, and a blinded slit window set in the gablehead. The first bay has bipartite windows, while the third floor features a pedimented single window with a stone crescent finial. The building has plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, coped mutual stacks, crow-stepped gables, and beaked skewputts.

There is a low boundary wall to the street. The interiors were not seen in 1991.
