49 and 51 Warrender Park Road is a four-storey, four-bay tenement building, constructed around 1882. It features Baronial details and is part of a terrace. The building is made of squared and snecked pink sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Notable architectural elements include a base course, a string course above the first floor, a corbel table at the third floor, crowstepped gables, chamfered reveals, roll-moulded doorways, deep-set panelled doors, plate glass fanlights, semi-circular pediments, and stone finials.

On the southeast elevation, the doorways are offset to the left and right in the third bay, with bipartite windows above at the first and second floors, and a single window at the third floor. There are full-height canted windows in the second and fourth bays, which are corbelled to a square at the gablehead, and blinded single windows set in the gableheads. The first bay contains bipartite windows, and there is a single window at the third floor. The building has plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, coped mutual stacks, crowstepped gables, and beak skewputts. The interiors were not seen in 1991. The property also features low boundary coping along the street.
