Description

Circa 1800. 4-storey, 5-bay tenement with Baronial details, forming part of terrace; stone-cleaned. Squared and snecked cream sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; dividing band course above ground floor; corbel table at 3rd floor stepped down to 2nd floor; roll-moulded doorways; deep-set panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; 3rd floor windows breaking eaves in pediments; chamfered reveals.

N ENTRANCE elevation: doorway offset to left in 2nd bay; single window above; crowstepped pediment. Doorways offset to right and bipartite windows offset to left in 3rd and 4th bays; bipartite windows above. Full-height canted window corbelled to square at gablehead in bay to outer right. Advanced bay to outer left with chamfered angles; 2 windows to each floor; polygonal roof; iron finial. Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; rendered and coped mutual stacks; beak skewputts. Low saddleback wall to street.
