Description
2 Airlie Street in Brechin is a building dating from around 1835, constructed from ashlar stone with raised belt and string courses. It is two stories tall with a dormerless attic and features a three-window front facing Airlie Street. The central entrance is a recessed door framed by a moulded architrave.
There is a recessed quadrant corner feature that includes a moulded doorpiece at the ground floor and a single window with a balcony and fluted apron at the first floor level. The quadrant has a deep parapet. The gable end has two windows, but the ground floor is now blank, featuring an off-centre attic light and a large chimney stack. The roof is gabled and slated, with straight skews.
