Description
27 Island Bank Road in Inverness is a building dating from around 1875, constructed from ashlar stone. It stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical three-bay front. The entrance features a doorpiece with a hoodmould above it. The outer windows on the ground floor are canted bays adorned with wrought-iron cresting. On the first floor, the outer windows are tripartite and topped with gablet dormerheads that have wrought-iron finials. The central window features a segmental pedimented dormerhead with a ball finial. The property is enclosed by a dwarf garden wall made of rubble, and the gatepiers are made of droved ashlar, panelled, and topped with ball finials.
