Description
7 Aitken Street in Dalry is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high and features three bays. The structure is made of ashlar stone with polished dressings. It has a central doorpiece that is pilastered and includes a cornice and block pediment. The ground floor windows are adorned with architraves and entablatures, and there are pilasters at each end of the building. On the first floor, there are three windows, each with architraves. The building is topped with an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, and it has a piended slate roof with end stacks. Additionally, there are original gatepiers at the entrance.
