Description
4 Whitehall in Maybole is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall and features four bays. The exterior is made of polished ashlar with decorative dressings. The central entrance is framed by a pilastered doorcase topped with a consoled cornice, flanked by two windows on the left and one on the right. There is a band course above the ground floor. On the first floor, there are four windows set in architraves with bracketed cills, and all windows are 12-pane sashes. The building is finished with a cornice and blocking course, and it has two flat-roofed dormers. The roof has straight skews, end stacks, and is covered with slate.
