Description
81 New Street in Dalry is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is finished in painted stugged ashlar with painted ashlar margins. The central entrance is highlighted by a pilastered doorpiece topped with a cornice and a blocking course. There are two windows on the left and one on the right side of the entrance. The first floor has three 12-pane sash windows. Above, there is a piended canted dormer. The building also includes an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course, as well as the base of a central wall-head stack. The roof is covered with slate.
