Description
62 New Street in Dalry is a mid-19th century building that features a single storey and an attic, organized into three bays. It is constructed from rubble with polished ashlar dressings. The central gable is advanced and has angle margins, moulded skewputts, straight skews, and an apex stack. The entrance door has cavetto reveals, and there are two windows above it. The left bay has a bipartite window at ground level, while the right bay has been altered with a modern frontage and two outer fluted columns. The building also includes two canted dormers, each with round-headed sash windows. Additional architectural details include an eaves course, cornice, straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
