Description
11 and 13 High Street in Tain is a building dating from around 1840. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a symmetrical design with five bays. The exterior is made of ashlar stone.
The central door is located on the ground floor, with an additional door at the extreme west end. Above the doors, there is a continuous entablature. The first floor has five windows, each with architraves and 12-pane glazing.
At the top, there is a corniced parapet that is raised in the center. The building also has three original piended dormers, each with 8-pane glazing, as well as cornice end stacks and a slate roof.
