Description

Dated "A.P.F. (Alexander Penrose Forbes) I.M. 1853."

Decorated style Tall hall section with 2-storey wings,

coursed and snecked rubble with ashlar dressings. East

gable front of hall large blind opening over built up

doorway with single order of shafts, west gable depressed

arch window of 4 lights with reticulated tracery. North

wall blind, tall central chimney shaft. 2-storey section to

south, parallel-roofed on west, right-angled at east,

doorpiece with bracketted gabled hood at south gable on east

elevation. Single-storey wing at right angles, 3 two light

windows each flank and transverse porch south gable.
