Description

1829, remodelled and largely refronted. 1889, galleried

hall with classical front, painted ashlar, side and rear

elevations, rubble, brick and partly rendered; ridge

slate roof with central, square louvred cupola capped

by ogee lead roof and ball finial. Each flank has 2

windows at ground and gallery levels. Fronts 3 bays

wide, symmetrical, advanced, higher pedimented centre

bay flanked by consoles conceals gable end. Large

Venetian window with cornice linked into main cornice,

  1. Central segmental arched doorway with fanlight

below 1829. Flanking bipartite windows, divided by

pilasters at ground and gallery level, panelled parapet

above cornice, all parts of 1889 remodelling.
