Description
19 Bridge Street in Musselburgh is a pair of terrace houses built around 1840. They are two storeys tall with attics and feature six windows across the first floor. The houses have a slate roof and are constructed from droved ashlar stone. A band course at the first floor is supported by panelled pilaster strips at each end. The cill string course at the first floor has been lowered for No 19, and there are raised margins around the first floor windows and an eaves course. Each house has one door and one window on the ground floor, both with lugged architraves. There are four canted dormers with piended roofs. The windows have been reglazed with a mix of double and single pane sashes, except for the ground and first floors of No 17, which have six pane sashes.
