112 Newhaven Road in Edinburgh is a pair of classical terraced houses built around 1820. They are two stories tall with a basement and feature three bays. The exterior is made of cream ashlar sandstone, which is rusticated at the ground level and droved at the basement and first floor. Architectural details include a base course, a band course above the rustication, a cill course at the first floor, and a cornice with a blocking course.

The left bay of the houses has a deep-set panelled door with a rectangular fanlight, while No 114 has irregularly spaced bays. There is a gutter recess that divides the two properties. The rear elevations are made of two bays of rubble, with No 112 having an advanced bay.

The windows are timber sash and case, with No 112 featuring 12 panes and No 114 having 4 panes. The roofs are covered with grey slates and have coped ashlar stacks, along with ashlar coped mutual skews.

In front, there is a low rubble wall topped with saddleback ashlar coping, and iron railings are present at No 112.
