Description
106 Newhaven Road is a classical terraced house built around 1820. It is two stories high and has three bays. The exterior is made of cream ashlar sandstone, with rustication at the ground floor and a stugged finish on the first floor. The building features a base course, a band course above the rustication, a cill course on the first floor, and a cornice with a blocking course. There is a deep-set door with a panel and a rectangular fanlight located in the right bay, while the other bays have regular fenestration.
The rear elevation is constructed from two bays of rubble. The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass. The roof is covered with grey slates and has a coped ashlar stack, with a secondary ashlar and brick stack on the rear wallhead. The left side has an ashlar coped mutual skew.
In front of the house, there is a low rubble wall topped with saddleback ashlar coping.
