108 Newhaven Road, Newhaven, Edinburgh

110 Newhaven Road in Newhaven, Edinburgh, dates from around 1820 and consists of a pair of two-storey and attic terraced houses with three bays each. The houses feature panelled doors with rectangular fanlights above the central bays. They are constructed from stugged ashlar sandstone with polished dressings, and include a base course, cill courses, a cornice, and a blocking course.

Number 108 has a later canted bay window at ground level, with chamfered arrises, a cornice, and a blocking course. It also features a pilastered doorcase with a fluted frieze and cornice, with windows flanking the bays to the right. There are two piend-roofed canted dormers.

Number 110 has a moulded architrave and a bracketed cornice above its door, with windows flanking the bays to the left. It has a single dormer on the left and a Velux window on the right. The first floor has regular fenestration.

The rear elevations are two bays of rubble with a shared secondary rendered stack. The houses have timber sash and case plate glass windows, with four panes in the dormers. The roofs are covered in grey slates, with coped ashlar stacks and ashlar coped mutual skews on the outer flanks.

In front, there is a low coursed stone wall topped with ashlar saddleback coping.
