120, 122 Newhaven Road, Edinburgh

This building, located at 120 and 122 Newhaven Road in Edinburgh, dates from around 1820 and is a three-storey, four-bay tenement. It is constructed of cream ashlar sandstone, featuring rustication at the ground level and a stugged finish on the upper floors. The building includes a base course, a band course above the rustication, cill courses on the upper floors, and a cornice.

The main entrance consists of a panelled door with ashlar fillets and a segment-paned round-headed fanlight located in the centre right bay. To the right bay, there is a tenement door that has a lowered four-pane letterbox fanlight.

The rear elevation is made of two bays of rubble. The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass. The roof is covered in grey slates and features ashlar coped mutual skews and coped ashlar stacks, one of which has been rebuilt.

In front of the building, there is a wall topped with saddleback ashlar coping and railings.
