Description
This building, located at 23 Spittal Street in Edinburgh, dates from around 1870 and is a four-storey, three-bay tenement. The ground floor is finished in polished ashlar, while the upper floors feature droved stonework. There is a dividing band between the ground and first floors, and a cill band is present on the two bays to the left at the third floor. The building has a moulded eaves cornice. The windows in the right and left bays are bipartite, and there is a timber panelled door with a small-pane glazed fanlight in the centre.
The building features predominantly modern glazing and is topped with grey slates. The stacks are rendered and have circular cans.
