Description

  1. 2-storey with basement and attic, 12-bay classical terrace of 4, 3-bay houses. Sandstone ashlar with rustication at ground. Base course, band course between floors, projecting cills at 1st floor, eaves cornice and blocking course, ashlar steps and entrance platts oversailing basement.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: round-arched entrances with fanlights in 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th bays; deep-set doors; windows to remaining bays, regular fenestration above, piended tripartite dormer to No 22, piended and canted dormer to No 24, piended bipartite dormer to No 26, rooflights.

Timber sash and case with predominantly plate glass glazing, grey slates, ashlar ridge stacks with terracotta cans, coped skews.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low rubble walls with ashlar copes. Some original cast-iron railings surviving.
