Description
St Brandon's is a building from the early to mid 18th century, featuring a two-storey and attic range that adjoins the rear of the Museum. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins.
The north and south elevations are irregular due to the sloping site, with a doorway located in the north elevation off High Street. There are additional entrances on the ground and first floors in the south elevation, accessed through a pend and garden. The south elevation also has four swept dormers that break the wallhead. The east gable facing the garden is symmetrical, with paired windows on each floor, an apex stack, and crowsteps. The windows are timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing, and the roof is covered with slate.
