Description

7 Back Path in Banff is a 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house built in 1766, possibly incorporating an earlier core. The house is situated on a sloping site and features harled walls with painted ashlar margins. The entrance is near the center, flanked by small windows, and there is an off-set blind window on the middle of the first floor. The house has small modern flat-roofed dormers. The timber sash and case windows on the ground floor have plate glass glazing, while the first floor features 12-pane and 8-pane windows. The roof is slate with a decorative pottery ridge and includes a coped end stack.
