Description
6 Strait Path in Banff is an early 19th-century house that likely includes an earlier core. It is a two-storey building with a dormerless attic and features three bays. The exterior is harled, with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins around the windows. The central entrance is highlighted by a shallow corniced and pilastered doorpiece, topped with a rectangular fanlight that has decorative glazing. There is a blocked window on the first floor in the center, while the other windows are timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks, with the western stack renewed in brick. It has a slate roof and a stone ridge.
