Description

Circa 1925. 3-storey, 3-bay symmetrical block with slightly set back 2-storey, single bay entrance wing at S return gable. Coursed bull-faced rubble with liberal use of tooled ashlar dressings and margins; harled return gables and rear. Recessed centre door flanked by enlarged shop windows; long, narrow centre stair window flanked in outer bays by bipartites identical in both floors. Moulded cornice between ground and lst floors; also at wallhead below blocking course. Set back entrance wing (Oakbank) with doorway and window over.

Varied fenestration in return gables and at rear, with canted oriel

at rear of Oakbank. Plate glass glazing. Corniced wallhead stacks; piended slate roof.
