Rectory, St Andrew's Episcopal Church, 28 High Street, Banff

The Rectory of St Andrew's Episcopal Church, located at 28 High Street in Banff, was designed by A & W Reid from Elgin in 1853 and showcases a Tudor Gothic style. This two-storey, three-bay house features a tooled ashlar front, with a harled return gable and a rear wing. A dividing string course runs along the facade.

The middle bay is slightly advanced and includes a recessed entrance that is topped by a depressed hoodmoulded arch. To the left of the entrance is a two-light window, while a three-light window is positioned to the right. On the first floor, there are three two-light windows beneath finialled gables, with all front windows featuring hoodmoulds. The glazing consists of multi-pane timber sash and case windows, with pointed heads on the upper sashes of the ground floor windows only. The house has deep copes on the end stacks and a slate roof that includes modern roof lights. The rear of the house and the rear wing have varied glazing.

The property is also adorned with cast-iron spearhead railings, dating from around 1990, which feature urn stiffeners and run along the front of both the rectory and the church.
