Tulloch, 88 High Street, Nairn

Tulloch, located at 88 High Street in Nairn, dates from around 1840 and underwent repairs and alterations by A & W Reid in 1858. This classical building features a two-storey, three-bay facade made of polished ashlar with a rusticated ground floor and channelled angle pilaster strips. There is a two-storey single-bay wing to the south, constructed of coursed rubble with polished ashlar dressings.

The central entrance is highlighted by a pilastered doorpiece, flanked by two-storey, pilastered canted bay windows that conceal keystones on the ground floor. Above, there is an aproned balustrade on the first floor and a parapet above. The first-floor centre window is topped with a segmental pediment. The second floor has five architraved windows with a guilloche moulded cill course. The building is finished with a frieze and cornice, and it has panelled end stacks, all under a slate roof.
