Description

Easter Villa, located on School Road in Fordyce, is a two-storey, three-bay house built in 1846 in the style of A and W Reid from Elgin. The house features a wide, two-storey single bay rear wing, creating an L-plan layout. The exterior is finished in colour-washed rubble, accented by contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins on the front. The entrance is centrally located in a slightly advanced bay and is framed by a shallow block pediment. The windows are regularly spaced and have 12-pane glazing. Additional architectural details include an eaves band, end wallhead coped stacks, and shallow piended slate roofs.
