Description
6 East Church Street in Fordyce is a single-storey and attic cottage built in the mid to late 19th century. Originally consisting of three and two-bay dwellings, it now features a five-bay layout. The exterior is constructed of rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The street-facing side has an alternating pattern of window-door-window, and there are two later gabled dormers. The gable end has two windows, and there is a continuous single-storey rear wing. The windows on the street frontage have four-pane glazing, while the gable and wing windows have six-pane glazing. The cottage has concrete coped end stacks and slate roofs, which include a loft roof light. The garden elevation has been modernised and harled.
