Description
1 Low Shore in Whitehills is an early 19th century cottage that has undergone significant alterations in the late 19th century. It is a single storey and attic structure with three bays. The front is made of rubble with contrasting painted long and short detailing and joints, while the gable is harled. The entrance is centrally located, and the front windows are slightly irregular, featuring a single wallhead canted dormer and glazing with 2- and 4-pane configurations. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof that includes modern roof lights.
At the south gable, there is a narrow two-bay lean-to addition that is also single storey. The front garden is enclosed by a low concrete block wall.
