Description
29 Sterlochy Street in Findochty is an early 19th-century cottage that was heightened in the later 19th century. It is a single-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is made of tooled mixed rubble, accented with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins and painted courses. The entrance is centrally located and has a panelled door, with 12-pane glazing in the flanking windows and a 9-pane window in the east gable. The outer bays have later 19th-century canted dormers that contain 2- and 4-pane glazing. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof, which includes a modern loft roof light. Additionally, there is a small single-storey, single-bay addition on the west gable.
