Description

3 Low Shore in Whitehills is a cottage from the early to mid-19th century that has been later heightened. It is a single-storey and attic structure with two bays, although it was probably originally designed with three bays. The building features rubble walls with harled flanks, contrasting painted margins, and dressings. The entrance is off-centre, and there is a single window on the ground floor and in the seaward gable. Two later gabled dormers interrupt the wallhead, and the windows have 2-pane glazing. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
