4 East Church Street is an early 19th century single-storey, 5-bay cottage that was formerly two separate dwellings. The building features rubble construction with a modernised harled garden elevation. The entrance is centrally located on the street front and has 9-pane glazing. The west elevation has been extended and modernised, featuring enlarged windows and a gabled wing.
