Description

Oaklands is an early 19th century cottage located in Urquhart Village. It is a long, single-storey building with an irregular eight-bay layout. The exterior is harled over clay and boulder walling. On the south elevation, there are three doorways, one of which is obscured by a small modern flat-roofed porch. The front elevation facing the garden features slightly enlarged windows with modern glazing, while the rear elevation facing the street has only small windows. The cottage has renewed ridge stacks and a felt tile roof.
