East Wing, Academy House, School Road, Fordyce

The East Wing of Academy House, located on School Road in Fordyce, is a later 19th-century building. It is a two-storey, five-bay wing that projects from the rear of Academy House, functioning as a separate dwelling. The structure is built of rubble with tooled ashlar dressings and margins. It features an off-centre entrance that is accompanied by a square single-storey porch. Each outer bay has closely paired windows, with the first-floor windows breaking the wallhead as gabled dormers, all featuring 2-pane glazing. The front has a centrally located shouldered wallhead stack, along with end stacks, and is topped with a slate roof. The property is enclosed by a low coped rubble garden wall at the front.
