Description
The Manse of Erskine Parish Church is a mid-19th century building designed in an L-plan layout and is two stories tall. It features stugged coursers with chamfered broached dressings. The front has three windows and a central door with a plain transom light above it. On the west gable, there is one window at the ground floor, two windows at the first floor, and an attic light, along with one window in the rear wing. The original glazing remains intact. There is a single-storey and attic east wing that is set back and has a single dormer head window. The roof is slated and supported by stone brackets, with broad eaves at the gables only, which have finials. The ashlar stacks are topped with machicolated cornices.
