Description
Corrie Cottage, located on Back Street in Fordyce Village, dates from around 1800 and has been heightened at a later date. It is a single-storey cottage with an attic and features three bays. The building is constructed of rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The central entrance is concealed by a later gabled porch made of weatherboarding. There are also later piended wallhead dormers in the outer bays.
Attached to the west gable is a single-storey, two-bay addition made of rubble, which is set back from the main structure and has varied glazing patterns. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof. The front garden is enclosed by a low coped wall.
