Description
This building, located at 7 West Road in Elgin, dates from around 1820 and is a single-storey cottage with an attic. It features three bays and a central door. The structure is constructed of rubble with tooled and polished ashlar dressings. The porch is slightly advanced and has piended roofing with chamfered angles. There are hoodmoulds above the door and windows, two canted dormers, and one swept dormer, all with 4-pane glazing. The roof is covered with slate, and there is a rubble garden wall surrounding the property.
