Description

5 West Road in Elgin is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is a single storey with an attic and features three bays. The entrance has a Roman Doric columned doorpiece with moulded architraves. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and raised margins. It has a moulded eaves course and two piended dormers, along with three-pane glazing. There are end stacks, and the roof is covered with West Highland slate.
