Description
The Church Hall on Church Street in Fordyce dates back to 1843 and was heightened and remodeled in 1894. It is a large rectangular former church constructed of rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. The building features three long bays on its elevations, with an entrance porch that projects from the north gable and is flanked by windows. There is a blocked round-headed window at the apex of the gable, and the building has 12-pane glazing. A bellcote is situated at the apex, and the roof is covered with slate. A modern wing extends from the south gable. Inside, the hall has been gutted and repurposed.
